Fourth grade learns Multiplication

Today, January 9, 2009 we played a VERY fun Math game in class. The students have been working very hard on their multiplication skills. We have been using arrays to help us learn them too!! Today we played a game using the arrays. It was very similar to the card game "I declare war". The students played in groups of 2 or 3 and had to decided whose array was bigger by determining whose product was greater! The students LOVED it as you can see from the pictures below!
